Whooooeeeee!!! How about that Gala?! I’m still smiling. We might not have been able to have the Gala in 2020, but wow, did the entire Gala committee, sponsors and volunteers make up for it this year. The chapter is indebted to Director of Special Projects Holly Carpenter, Chairs Brad Ford and Tara Moore, Auction Chair Alyssa Pruitt, all the generous sponsors, and the dedicated volunteers who put it all together. Truly amazing!
June is a busy month for MPI. WEC will be June 15 – 17 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and there is still time to register. On June 23, we have our Educational Luncheon at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel so be sure to check your emails or the link below to register. The incredible Courtney Stanley will help us embrace empathy to become better leaders in this ever-changing world.
As I write my final President’s message there are so many things that I want to say, and people that I want to thank. My deepest appreciation to every single member who has continued to believe in our chapter, the best Board of Directors anyone could ever ask for, a fantastic Chapter Administrator in Ashley Jensen, all the remarkable former chapter leaders who continue to support what we do, and every sponsor and volunteer. Because of you, we are a Top Performing Chapter and leader in the industry.
Shannon Jones and Melanie Blanche, thank you so much for helping to lead with grace and wisdom! You both mean the world to me. Shannon, all of us owe you a debt of gratitude for your many years of service to MPI Tennessee. You will be missed!!
Seven years ago, my family moved to Tennessee, and it was the best decision we ever made. This is our home now, and thanks to MPI Tennessee, the roots have become even stronger through friendships made and hardships faced. It has been an honor and a privilege to be your President this past year, so thank you everyone!

Until we meet again,

Join us for lunch and education at the beautiful Kimpton Aertson Hotel where Courtney Stanley will help us learn and understand “The Essentials of Empathy”. This session will inspire you to look inward, take steps forward and rewrite the next chapter of your story the way YOU want, and you will have tangible items to keep learning and growing after our time together. You don’t want to miss this informative and inspiring event!

Bradley Ford & Tara Moore, CMP
Brad Ford & Tara Moore, CMP are our Rockstar winners for the amazing work they put together for our "21" Glitz and Glamour Gala in May.
Together, they spent over 9 months working together while leading a committee of 7 members and over 20 vendors to put together such a memorable night. When they first started planning, in the middle of the pandemic, they had no idea this would be the event to bring all the members back together mask-free as a celebration that events are back in Nashville.
We are so lucky to have these 2 creative and hardworking members in our chapter.
Congratulations Brad and Tara!

Note that this position is part-time (20-30 hours/week) but has the potential to move to full-time as clients are added, if desired.
