In collaboration with Wits RHI and FHI360, our CAMI Health program -- which houses the IMPT Secretariat -- is proud to launch our newest resource, “Word on the Street: African Women Share Their Reproductive Health Stories.” This interactive, web-based tool is built on ESRI’s ArcGIS StoryMap platform and captures the authentic narratives of adolescent girls and young women, key influencers (male partners, grandmothers/mothers), and technical experts in “hot spot” areas of South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe regarding prevalent issues of HIV, other STIs, and unintended pregnancy.
By amplifying the diverse voices, needs and lived experiences of these stakeholders, “Word on the Street '' serves as an advocacy tool for fostering enabling environments for female-initiated HIV prevention and family planning options, including MPTs as potential game-changers in addressing these issues.

|
The first of its kind to focus on MPTs, this comprehensive landscape assessment integrates end-user perspectives as well as insights from nearly 30 leading stakeholders in contraception, HIV, and STIs across the globe. It takes a deep dive into the current MPT product development pipeline and end-user research relevant to MPTs. It also illuminates the pathway to introduction and scalability of MPTs in low- and middle-income countries with considerations for current public health, regulatory, and technical challenges.
