So far we have had over 200 people make a commitment to Care for Creation.
Everyone is invited to participate in our Care for Creation Prayer Service and Pet Blessing Sunday 10/4 at 2:30pm. If you wish to bring a pet for the blessing, please remain in your car the entire time, participate in the live-streamed service (go to www.mqhr.org) on your smartphone, and at the end of the service, the priest or deacon will come to your car and bless you and your pet inside the car.
If you are not bringing a pet, you can attend the service in person or via live stream video on the parish website. We will celebrate the gift of creation and bless your commitments to take one further step in the care for creation at the service, fittingly enough on Saint Francis Day.

Todos están invitados a participar en nuestro Servicio de Oración de Cuidado para la Creación y Bendición de Mascotas Domingo 10/4 a las 2:30 pm. Si desea traer una mascota para la bendición, permanezca en su automóvil todo el tiempo, participe en el servicio de transmisión en vivo (visite www.mqhr.org) en su teléfono inteligente y, al final del servicio, el sacerdote o el diácono vendrá a su automóvil y lo bendecirá a usted y a su mascota dentro del automóvil.

On October 15, we are going to have a tasting and decide on the flavor of our bourbon. Would you like to be a part? Beginning on Monday when we return to school, a check for $100 will secure your spot (if you are one of the first 10).
Our select bourbon bottles will be available for purchase in December. More information will be forthcoming after the tasting on October 15.

We will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection(it was delayed by Covid-19), which unites us and Catholics around the world more closely with the Holy Father in two ways: it supports the structures of the Holy See through which the Pope governs the Church as well as his charitable efforts to assist victims of war, oppression, natural disasters, and others most in need.
