Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Colossians 3:12

Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School
A National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence
Catholic Identity
This Friday is our May Crowning. We will honor Mary as the mother of Jesus, mother of our church and our mother, too. We pray that we might follow Mary's example and listen to God and do what God asks with joy.

For our May Crowning on Friday -
All students should come to school dressed in their best Sunday clothes. Boys may or may not wear ties but suit coats are not necessary. Girls may wear dresses, skirts or nice pant outfits. If the dress is backless, low cut or otherwise cut in a fashion not appropriate for a Catholic elementary school, please have them wear a sweater. All dresses and skirts must pass the fingertip test. Students should bring their gym uniform to change into after our May Crowning service.

As part of our May Crowning we will offer flowers to Mary. Each child is encouraged to bring a flower to add to the classroom offering.

Would you be available to attend and join us in honoring Mary? We will start gathering at 9:30 and then start processing from school at 9:45. The service will begin at 10:00.
