MRBN Newsflash: Important Updates, April 2019

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to bring you some important new Maine Reslience Building Network (MRBN) updates.

As many of you know, MRBN now has an active Leadership Team. We have worked hard to develop a three-year strategic plan to advance MRBN from a volunteer program to a non-profit organization. Our about-to-be minted non-profit will follow these tenets:

  • MRBN is committed to advancing the health, well-being of Maine children, families and communities.

  • MRBN is committed to building stronger workforces and communities. MRBN imagines all Maine sectors and law makers understanding social determinants of health and adverse childhood experiences, the relationship to poor health outcome, readiness to learn and work force productivity.

  • MRBN aims for a comprehensive, cross-sector, and systematic approach to foster ACEs awareness and resilience informed practices.

We are pleased to announce the Network Engagement and Training Director contract position is now posted. Applications will be accepted until May 17, 2019. Please send letter and resume to [email protected] . Consider applying and please share the news with your colleagues. The second position will be posted soon.
