as if it’s an officially sanctioned script.”

I just wanted to follow up and thank you for everything you and MRFF did today. From the moment I called you at 1000, you were on it (even though you were at a doctor's appt). The fact that you kept me updated every few hours, pushed the matter directly with Kirtland Base leadership and PA office, and treated it with the urgency it deserved says everything about how seriously you take these violations.

And the impact was immediate. It’s now 1400, and I have gone through the same gate a couple times without hearing the religious greeting. After dealing with it repeatedly for weeks, seeing that change happen within hours is honestly incredible.

I’m grateful for your responsiveness, your persistence, and your willingness to confront these problems head on. What you and MRFF accomplished today made a real difference for me and to anyone else on this base who doesn’t want religion injected into our professional lives.

Mikey,

I’m writing because something is happening at the front gate of my base that is absolutely unacceptable, and frankly I’m stunned it’s been allowed to continue. For multiple days over the last couple of weeks, the guards have been greeting me with “God bless you” every single morning as I come through. Not once, not twice... repeatedly, consistently, as if it’s an officially sanctioned script.

I am not Christian. I should not have to be subjected to religious messaging at a U.S. military installation, especially from uniformed personnel acting in an official capacity. This is not a harmless pleasantry. This is a blatant violation of the separation of church and state and an inappropriate imposition of a specific religious worldview on service members and all civilians on this base.

It is exhausting, infuriating, and frankly alienating to be reminded every morning that some people on this base feel entitled to inject their religion into official interactions. I shouldn’t have to brace myself at the gate wondering what religious phrase I’m going to be hit with today.

I want this addressed. I want it stopped. And I want leadership reminded that religious neutrality is not optional. It is a legal requirement.

Davis thank you for the phone call we just had…… We have 27 complaints on this currently… 21 of them are Christians themselves and the others are Jewish Muslim or of a non-faith tradition… and one of our complainants had the guts to send this email in representing everybody else… Since this personally happened to me at 10:49 AM at the Louisiana gate with SRA (name withheld) saying “have a blessed day“, I would be the 28th complainant…… As agreed, I need somebody to call me back by 14:00 to confirm that this hideous unconstitutional behavior has been terminated…… I will standby until then…… Thank you, TSgt. So when JD Vance, the vice president of the United States, talks publicly about The Antichrist and the End Times, and when it’s ignored by corporate media that ignore religion today the way they ignored it on Jan. 6, 2021, well, if the corporate media hath forsaken us, then TFN must sacrifice itself for their sins.

Plus, everyone should understand how incoherent the literal version of The Antichrist is, as revealed in how Vance does/doesn’t engage.

If it were true that a guy serving Satan was going to arise at some point to unite the world for his nefarious ends, Christians and the damned alike probably should prepare for that the way we’re not preparing for climate change. Likewise, attention should be paid to The Rapture by Christians, the damned, and the estate-planning industry.

And yet, here’s what Vance said on Bryce Crawford’s podcast:

Crawford: What do you think about the End Times? Do you think that we’re here? Do you think it’s coming?

Vance: I have for my entire life been fascinated by End Times prophecy and theology. … do I think that we’re in the End Times? I don’t know. And I think that it’s probably bad for me, spiritually, to focus too much on it, because there are, like, things you gotta do. I gotta be good to my wife. I gotta be good to my kids. I have to be, you know, as good [sic] of a leader [sic] as I can for the United States of America. And so I think that focusing — while I’m fascinated by it — I think focusing on it too much can be very bad. I think that there are, like, things about the world that make me feel, like, not shocked if The Antichrist was walking among us. But again, I try not to focus too much on it.
