What I had learned from my years in the insights industry and from the Principles of Market Research program enabled me with the confidence and knowledge required to earn certifications from MRII / University of Georgia and the Insights Association. Since 2020, on a daily basis, I use what I learned and continue to learn by constant reading and by completing additional certifications in data analysis. I've found myself being more fulfilled in my career as a research strategist, who can be viewed as a trusted partner to clients and colleagues, guiding them to success by consulting and designing strategic research plans that meet their specific business challenges. - Tim Kunkel, Vice President of Strategy at a full-service strategy and insights company and MRII Board of Directors member

The Global Market Research course was informative, thoughtfully detailed, and thought-provoking thanks to its simultaneous emphasis on the fundamentals of the entire research process and lifecycle as well as the various similarities between domestic market research and global market research. Happily, I am currently progressing even further into my research and insights journey. Having taken the Global Market Research course, it has and will benefit me greatly as I presently feel capable of translating and applying the knowledge I have gained within my current position as a Research Project Coordinator at Northwestern University. - MRII Diversity Award Recipient Ava Wells-Quantrell

People - The Crucial Element to Organizational Success
The analysis of 1,800 companies across all sectors in 15 countries split companies into four categories, but found less than 10% fell into the ideal quadrant of "People + Performance Winners," who are roughly 1.5 times more likely to retain high performers over time and have about half the earnings volatility. And when the pandemic hit, they maintained profitability and grew revenues twice as fast as companies that only focused on performance.
"In practice, companies need to ensure their people have mastery of the fundamentals of market research..."
