OCTOBER  MEMORIES

On Tuesday, October 11th MRJ had their monthly meeting. 13 people attended.  After sandwiches and fixings were eaten and we dispatched the items on our agenda, we were treated to a talk by Ted Rosner who recounted his experiences from his trip to Israel.

On Sunday, October 13th we had our first Breakfast Meeting of the Year.  Juice, Bagels, Lox, Coffee and Cookies were at each table in the CJL.  We then had the pleasure of hearing Jack Romberg talk about his Uncle who served in the German army during World War I, escaped just before World War II and served with honor in the US army. 

A fascinating story of the need to stand up for what is right which is valid today.  Some attendees purchased the book he wrote and had it autographed.
