At MRSI Mycronic, we are proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone—Peter Cronin’s 25th anniversary with our organization. Peter’s journey with MRSI began in 2000 as a Sales Engineer, where his technical insight and customer focus quickly set him apart. Over the years, Peter’s commitment to delivering exceptional sales support, hands-on demos, and product guidance has shaped our reputation for excellence in the field.
Peter’s visionary leadership was instrumental in transforming our Applications and Service Engineering Team into a world-class, multinational group that supports customers worldwide. Thanks to Peter’s extensive product and process expertise—especially in the photonics sector—our team is now equipped to solve the most complex challenges, providing seamless support as we evolve with our customers.
With more than 15 years leading the Applications and Service group, and now as Director of Sales for North America, Peter continues to set the standard for collaborative leadership and customer-centric innovation. His efforts have ensured customers throughout Canada, the USA, and Mexico are able to partner with MRSI throughout the purchase and integration cycles. MRSI has initiated a new emphasis on the aftermarket business with Peter leading the drive to increase sales of upgrades and service contracts. This resulted in a more appealing set of offerings for service contracts. Peter has added responsibility for North American service to ensure the delivery of these new services. Peter’s colleagues consistently praise his dependability, ingenuity, and mentorship. He approaches every customer's need with a solution-driven mindset, embodying our core values of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning. His dedication to fostering a positive work environment not only benefits our team—it translates directly into greater value and support for our customers.
Commenting on his time with MRSI Mycronic, Peter said, "I’ve been able to make a living while working with this astounding MRSI Mycronic team. I get to see technology long before it is mainstream and I meet some of the greatest technical people from all over the world." Peter and his wife are the parents of four daughters of whom they are immensely proud. MRSI Mycronic has always been part of their lives and two even interned with the company.
