MOORE REPUBLICAN WOMEN
LUNCH RESERVATION LINK
NOW OPEN!
ELECTION INEGRITY MATTERS!

Fellow Patriots,
I am running for Moore Republican Women President. It is important that you register immediately. The current executive board has limited voting eligibility. Voting has been restricted to those who register and purchase a lunch. In the past, registration for the luncheon has been limited, with the available seats selling out. Additionally, the MRW executive board is unlawfully preventing new members from participating in the upcoming November 3rd election.

The bylaws provide that if you live in Moore County, you are a Republican woman, and you pay the fee, you are a member. Members are eligible to vote. You can even bring your check to the next meeting, per the website.
The bylaws do not have any restrictions on timing of membership.

ARTICLE IV MEMBERSHIP AND DUES
Section One Eligibility
A. Active Membership
1. Any woman, who is a registered Republican in Moore County, North Carolina, and who accepts and advocates the objectives (Article II) and policies (Article III) of MRW, shall be eligible for membership.
2. A member in good standing shall be a member who has paid the required dues for the current calendar year.

But the MRW Bylaws have now been amended without notice and without a vote of MRW members. Additionally, new members have been prevented from registering for the November 3rd luncheon. This is a violation of the MRW Bylaws.

ARTICLE XI AMENDMENTS AND REVISIONS
After Executive Board approval, these bylaws may be amended or revised by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of those active members present and voting, a quorum being present, at any regular meeting of MRW or a special meeting called for that purpose, provided notice of the proposed amendment(s) or revision has been given in writing to all members at least thirty (30) days prior to the general meeting.

There was a special meeting held on Saturday October 16th by the MRW Executive board. The rules were changed without notice to the MRW members. Maureen Krueger, also running for MRW President, was invited and was present at this meeting. I was not invited.

Upon motion of the Membership Chair, membership was retroactively cut off, effective October 16th. This was done without notice to MRW members and violated the MRW Bylaws.

A copy of the meeting's minutes are below. Click on the link to read.
Ms. Benway, the person who suggested the restriction of registration for membership is a MRW Officer. She is in charge of membership and she is also in charge of lunch reservations. As you can imagine, this causes me some concern.

Ms. Benway sent out an email on October 15, 2021 to MRW members urging them to vote against me. It is my understanding that she originally sent it out to about 27 MRW members. She did not hide the email addresses and I was able to respond. However, it has come to my attention that she has continued to send the email individually to MRW members. She has the email addresses of all MRW members.

MRW BYLAWS ARTICLE III POLICIES
A. Neither MRW, nor the MRW Executive Board, shall endorse a candidate prior to the primary election, nor to any election wherein Republicans are running in opposition on a ballot for the same office, whether local, statewide, or national.

I have requested a copy of the current contact information for the MRW members so that I may respond. My request has not been answered.

I believe it's important for all facts to be presented and I have provided the Ms. Benway's email and my response.

All of these concerns have been called to the attention of our current MRW Executive Board without a response.

Click on the link to read it for yourself.

Note: I have redacted the email addresses and names for privacy.
Expect more integrity from our officers and for our elections.

Please make your voice heard.

Please register for the luncheon.

We can do better!
