Letter from the President by Pilar Page

What is President Trump doing?
Change, by its very nature, is disruptive. President Trump has no trouble disrupting things in order to bring about the change he envisions. This makes lots of people nervous, including people on our own side. They worry that too much is going on at the same time and that his change is chaotic.
Most of us thought he'd work to change things back to the way things were before the Dems started acting "crazy woke" and destroying our country.
But that's not what he's doing. The change he is instituting isn't taking us BACK - it's taking us FORWARD into a new future. And what looks like chaos is actually a methodical and cohesive whole-of-government strategy.
Basically, Trump is draining the swamp, attacking fraud and energizing our economy here at home while he systematically repositions American geopolitical power to weaken China and its influence around the world. From Greenland to the Panama Canal, the Abraham Accords to Mexican cartels, Venezuela to the Shield of the Americas, and finally to Iran - every one of these moves is designed to make America First - ensuring we command an overwhelming and positive impact as we reshape the world. There are risks involved - but also massive rewards. It can't be done overnight, but it IS being done.
Naturally, the media will be trying non-stop from now until Election Day to depress and discourage us from voting. Don't let them! Ditch the Gloom and Doom and keep your eye on the big picture. The Golden Age is on its way.
May God bless our President!
Pilar

From our Chaplain by Nancy Manley

We should all be praying for country every day - but you have two big opportunities to join other Americans in doing so this month:
May 7: The annual National Day of Prayer invites all Americans to seek the Lord and focus on the theme: Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.
May 17:
Ahead of the nation's 250th Anniversary, President Trump announced a major prayer event to be held on the National Mall on May 17, 2026.
"We're inviting Americans from all across the country to come together on our National Mall to pray, to give thanks, and...we're going to rededicate America as one nation under God." FULL STORY HERE.
You don't have to go to Washington, D.C. to participate in either of these. Millions will pray in their homes and communities. Add your voice to theirs.

Liberals have always demonized Republicans. They've called them "Fascists" and "Hitler" for three-quarters of a century. Every Republican president is worse than the one before, according to them. Their penchant for violent rhetoric (and subsequent violence) is not new. But the reality is, Republican Presidents have been an unambiguous force for good in our country and around the world. Here's just a PARTIAL list:
-
Abraham Lincoln – Preserved the Union, ended slavery
-
Theodore Roosevelt – Made the U.S. a global power, built Panama Canal, launched modern conservation to protect millions of acres of land.
-
Dwight D. Eisenhower – Led WWII victory, built Interstate Highway System, ended war in Korea, enforced school desegregation.
-
Ronald Reagan – Was instrumental in ending Cold War, cut taxes and expanded free-market economics, rebuilt military, advanced arms reductions with Soviet Union
-
George H. W. Bush – Managed peaceful end of Cold War and led Gulf War coalition.
-
Donald J. Trump – Pressured NATO allies, confronted China on trade and expansion into Western hemisphere, brokered Abraham Accords, closed borders, ended DEI, appointed three US Supreme Court Justices, much more TBD.

| | Election integrity project continues... | | |
It was just in the news that more than 34,000 people on the North Carolina voter rolls are DEAD! The discovery happened during the state board of election's ongoing effort to verify the citizenship status of registered voters.
Let's ensure Moore County's voter lists are up to date and "clean" and reduce the opportunities to cheat. There's a project underway to personalize form letters and address envelopes to be sent to residences where three or more people with different last names reside.
If you can help, please contact Annette Miller at annettem25@sbcglobal.net.
