Hello Colt Families,
We hope you had a wonderful long Labor Day weekend!
CVMS is really getting into the groove as we enter week #3 of school. The back-to-school kinks are working themselves out, and things are starting to feel very “normal” once again. Our students are showing perseverance as they adapt to new ways of learning, and our staff is truly proud of what progress is being made.
We have compiled a “Questions & Who to Contact Resource Page” that will be helpful in guiding your question to the appropriate team or department. Be sure to save this as a quick reference for future needs.
IMPORTANT Attendance Procedures: Both Hybrid and CV Cyber students must submit attendance on remote learning days using Infinite Campus. Click here for instructions, or click here for a video tutorial. If a Hybrid or CV Cyber student is unable to complete school work on a remote learning day, the student will be marked absent. Hybrid students who are absent on in-person days may either choose to work remotely (if healthy enough to do so), or receive an excused/unexcused absence (documentation must be provided for absence to be excused).
FAQ of the Week: Is there a difference between a teacher individual Google Meet and a Class Google Meet?
Yes, our teachers have established two different forms of communication using Google Meets with all students. Sometimes students have individual questions for the teacher, this is when they would schedule an individual teacher Google Meet-usually during office hours, or even during class time. Please see teacher schedules posted in the Google Classrooms.
When the teacher schedules a classroom virtual Google Meet-this is for the entire class to join and to discuss, etc. Please see the Classroom Google Meet Schedule for each of your teachers.
