Greetings!

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news" - Romans 10: 14-15

As I reflect back over last month, the main thing I see are the faces of students who were at the FCA huddles. These students were locked into the message of Jesus and I had the privilege to be the one sharing it. I was sent to those FCA huddles by God as His Ambassador to share the Good News of Jesus. But not only was I sent by God, I was also sent by you. Your gift of prayer and support SENT me. And not only did it send me, but it sent our 30-plus staff to hundreds of meetings touching thousands of faces all over our state. Thank you for SENDING us to the next generation with the message of the good news of Christ Jesus our Lord.

Staffing

Adding staff decreases our staff-to-school ratio and increases our ministry impact. In March, long-time coach, Jeff Terrill, officially joined staff as our Multi-Area Director for Central & Southwestern Mississippi. Additionally, we are working on adding staff at USM, Pearl River, the Gulf Coast, Meridian, the MS Delta, Tupelo, and several year-long internships.

Ministry Highlights

COACHES STUDIES

We are committed to ministry to and through coaches. All across MS we are launching Coaches Huddles. In the Jackson Area alone 7 schools now have active coaches huddles reaching over 50 coaches every week. At Northwest Rankin the Coaches are doing are R12 Study by Chip Ingram.

FCA INTERNATIONAL

Not only are you sending our staff to Mississippi, but your prayers and support are carrying the gospel to the world. Did you know that in 2014 FCA had 152 camps in 33 countries reaching 29,150 campers!? 5,167 professions of faith were made at these camps! Over spring break FCA had 3 international mission trips to Haiti, Honduras, and Barbados. Our MS team has 3 more intentional trips scheduled this spring. Currently Ian McGinnis, former QB at Belhaven, is in Honduras for 6 weeks. He is equipping athletes and coaches share Christ through sports.
