Hello Colt Families!
Time is flying as the leaves change, and we are getting our winter coats out of storage. Our students will be having their first Celebration of Excellence assembly this Friday. A reminder this Friday, October 28, is a half day of school. Dismissal at the MS is 11:00 a.m.
Dressing Appropriately
We are in between seasons. Please make sure your children are dressing appropriately for school. The school building and classrooms can be cold in the colder months, so it would be a good idea to dress in layers. Physical education conducts classes outside during colder weather, so please bring a jacket or a hoodie.
The First Nine Weeks are Over on October 26
October 26 is the last day of the first nine weeks. The 2nd nine weeks begin on Thursday, October 27. Students in Grades 7 & 8 are on nine-week rotations for Encore classes (Art, Tech. Ed., General Music, FCS & Maker). Please check your schedules for course changes.
National Day of Writing
We celebrated the National Day of Writing, sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English. Students interested signed up for an event hosted by Ms. Bouch.
