2nd Annual CVMS ThanksforGiving Food Drive:
The 8th Grade Peer Helpers & Chartiers Valley Federation of Teachers (CVFT-STRONG) are sponsoring a food drive benefiting our community's Southwest Meals on Wheels Program. We are asking all CVMS families, CVFT Staff, & CVSD personnel to donate to this worthy cause. The success of the Southwest Meals on Wheels program is reliant on this charity drive. You can bring your donations to CVMS Commons from November 17th to November 23rd. Donations should be non-perishable/non-expired items only. Suggestions include: Canned goods (soups, vegetables, fruit, tuna, sauce, etc.), Boxed items (Cereal, Instant Potatoes & Rice, Mac & Cheese, Pasta, etc.), Others (Peanut Butter, Jelly, Breakfast Bars, Cake Mixes, Pancake Mixes, Coffee, Tea, Juice Boxes, etc.) Thank you for your charity & support!
Important Chromebook Information
Our technology team has recently seen an increase in Chromebook incidents resulting in repairs. This is a reminder that the District's Device Policy does not cover accidental or intentional damage to the device as determined solely by the Chartiers Valley School District. Device insurance is available and can be purchased anytime during the school year. We encourage all families to buy the coverage. Just $20 a year covers accidental damage. Families can purchase device insurance at www.one2onerisk.com. All physical components of the device due to accidental damage, cracked screens, fire, lightning, liquid damage, electrical surge, or theft of the device, WITH a police report, are covered.
