25 January 2021 | Chartiers Valley Middle School
Hello Colt Families,

All is well here at the MS! Students are hard at work and seem quite eager to be back and getting into the groove once again.

Final grades from the 2nd marking period are now posted in Infinite Campus. If you would like to receive a paper copy, please email jmodelo@cvsd.net with that request.

Our students took part in a NoPlace4Hate activity last week in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They were asked, "What is your dream for the future of our world?" It's truly touching to see and hear what our students envision & we'd love to share the slideshow with you. Click the link to see what they said: What is your dream for the future of our world?

In Business News, our 8th grade students have completed a 2 month long stock market challenge where they researched, purchased and sold stock on an interactive website, www.stockmarket.com. Each student was allotted $100,000 and over 175 students participated. Our top earners at the end of the challenge are: Tyler Maddix, Danish Husain, Ezra (Conner) Beck, and Jayden Larrow. Congrats on a job well done!

The year is flying by and we can't thank you all enough for your patience and cooperation while we navigate our way through.
Make it a great day,

Dr. Michele Welter, Principal
Mr. Dan Knause, Assistant Principal
