12 April 2021 | Chartiers Valley Middle School
Hello Colt Families,

We hope that everyone had a relaxing spring break spending time with your families and loved ones. May will be here before you know it, which means we are in the "homestretch" of the school year.

April is a busy month with lots of events coming up. We'll be participating in the Pennsylvania Department of Education established window for the PSSA testing. Our mantra for CVMS students this year is "just do your best and relax!" The students have done a fabulous job during a tough school year and this testing is their opportunity to show how much they have accomplished. Please see the following links for detailed testing dates and Code of Conduct: Middle School Testing Schedule and PSSA Testing Code of Conduct

Lifetouch spring pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, April 28 for in-person students and again on Friday, April 30th for virtual students. As this coincides with PSSA testing, the pictures will be taken after testing is completed that day. More information on how to order will be communicated soon.

There is lots of excitement in the 7th and 8th grade science classes as the duck eggs arrived last week! The eggs are currently in the incubator and students will be observing and caring for them diligently each day. Stay tuned for progress reports.

Make it a great day,

Dr. Michele Welter, Principal
