Hello Colt Families,

The first quarter is flying by and we’re already halfway through the first nine weeks of the year. This grading period ends October 26, so please encourage your student(s) to actively submit assignments and work diligently in order to successfully complete the start of the year.

As a reminder, Lifetouch is on-site the following dates for hybrid students:
Tuesday, October 6 - Hybrid students with last names beginning in A-K
Thursday, October 8 - Hybrid students with last names beginning in L-Z

Yearbook orders for the 2020-2021 are now being accepted! Buying early means you will get the lowest prices as the cost increases every couple of months, so don’t delay! Click here to order: CVMS Yearbook Best Price

If you have photos you would like to be considered for the yearbook, please email cvmsyearbook@cvsd.net. The committee is particularly in need of photos of sporting and extracurricular events. With your photo submission, please indicate the event and names of people within the photo.

Free Meals
Chartiers Valley School District is now offering FREE breakfast and FREE lunch to every student, every school day. This includes to-go meals for students learning virtually.  

To-go meals for virtual days (both CV Cyber and Hybrid) must be ordered using this Google Form. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance and picked up at the following times: 
  • CV Cyber Students can pick up to-go meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am -12:00 noon at the High School. 
  • Hybrid students with last names beginning in A-K can pick up meals for their remote days at the end of the day each Tuesday before leaving school. 
  • Hybrid students with last names beginning in L-Z can pick up their to-go meals each Thursday before going home. 

At this time, the free meals for all students will only run until December 31, 2020, at which time meal pay statuses will return to Paid, Free, or Reduced rates based on qualifications.  Be sure to submit your free/reduced meal applications as soon as possible to avoid any gap in benefits. Applications can be found on the District website
