Holiday Card Contest
Submit your artwork to be considered for the CVSD holiday card, which is sent to hundreds of local and global contacts. Runners up from each building will be printed on the back of the cards. All five finalists will be featured on the website and social media.
Artwork must be:
- created by students in grades K-12
- non-denominational, but festive
- made from ANY media -- be creative!
- vertical and sized 8-1/2 x 11"
- submitted by November 13 to art teachers or school office
Calling All Veterans!
CV invites all area veterans to attend the annual Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, November 11 at 10:10am. The brief 20-minute ceremony will be followed by light refreshments. Veterans are welcome to bring a guest and other vets too!
Parking will be available in the front of the building at the new high school entrance.
Veterans are also invited to attend a ceremony at the Primary School at 2:00 pm on November 11. Please contact
ALiCE Safety Drills
Each of CV's four schools will participate in ALiCE drills in the coming weeks. ALiCE drills provide an opportunity to practice procedures which keep students and staff safe during dangerous situations. For more information and parent resources, visit the

Quarterly report cards are now paperless. Be sure to set up your Infinite Campus accounts in order to view your student’s report card. A final report card will be sent by mail in June.
