Mission and Statement:
Why is our program Special?

This program would develop professionals who can lead the work in exercise science and health-related fields to prevent and treat diseases including diabetes, obesity, hypertension that are becoming more common in the Hispanic community.

Do students in my program have opportunities to be engaged in Interprofessional Education (IPE) opportunities?


Many of the classes in the program engage students in interprofessional education opportunities. Students work with their classmates in projects in their classes and students interact and learn from professional in the field in internship classes.

Who do students contact if difficulties are experienced in major courses?


The professors who teach the course or any other professors who is knowledgeable in the related area of topic. There is no official tutoring service for MS in Exercise Science. However, it is suggested that students should talk to other students in the program and create study groups.
