We are thrilled to be part of the Massachusetts STEM Week opening ceremonies. There is incredible content all week, but we’re particularly excited to offer three sessions that will feature different aspects of MSEF. Click Here for details of all these events.
 
Monday, October 19th

The morning will kick-off with remarks by Governor Baker, Lt. Governor Polito, Dr. Jeffrey Leiden, Executive Chairman of Vertex Pharmaceuticals and co-chair of the STEM Advisory Council, and James Peyser, Secretary of Education, among other dignitaries.
 
11am
This session will feature MSEF with remarks by:

Bill Sibold, Head of Sanofi Genzyme, who will introduce the 2020 winners of the Sanofi Genzyme Prize at the 2020 MA Science & Engineering Fair

Archita Nemalikanti and Sreeja Bolla, students from Hopkinton High School, who will present an overview of their winning project

PJ Boardman, Director, Education Marketing, MathWorks, who will introduce the 2020 winner of the MathWorks Prize at the 2020 MA Science & Engineering Fair

Suvin Sundararajan, a student at Westfield High School, will present an overview of his winning project

Helen Rosenfeld, MSEF Executive Director and Rishi Shukla, MSEF Board Chair
 
Thursday, October 22nd

Please join the MA Region IV Science & Engineering Fair (MetroNorth) community at 3pm and the MA Region II Science & Engineering Fair (Central) community at 4pm for rich conversations about community partnerships, corporate volunteerism, and supporting independent student research through the science and engineering fair process. From student alumnus to university and community partnerships, you will hear from all of the stakeholders that contribute to a robust science and engineering fair program.
