Send a form letter to your legislator. Use this
link to enter in your information and easily send an email to your representative in support of the many physician groups who have requested aid to ensure physician practices weather the financial hit from the public health emergency. You can make a difference. Tell Congress that physicians need their help.
Participate in a virtual advocacy day on May 12, 2020.
This is another key opportunity for ophthalmologists to share their stories about how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted both their patients and their practices. Academy staff will schedule appointments with congressional offices and share training materials, talking points and other resources to ensure you have successful meetings with your lawmakers and congressional staff.
