The American Medical Association invites you to a live conversation with AMA President Patrice A. Harris, MD, MA, and a panel of AMA health care experts on challenges and concerns facing physicians during this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis.
As we work together on the front lines and beyond to defeat COVID-19, the AMA wants to hear from you and channel your collective voices into action.
Attendance is limited. Please register immediately and reserve your seat.

If you were unable to participate in the town hall meeting hosted by the Retina Group of Washington on Monday April 6, 2020, you may view the presentation slides here.
Dear MedChi Members and Maryland Physicians:

Here's what we want you to know today:

  • Here is the registration link for the Maryland Department of Health's all-physician call for today, Wednesday, April 8 at 5:00 pm. As a reminder, MedChi has accredited these calls for CME, so please be sure to complete the online evaluation to receive credit. You'll find the evaluation link in the webinar slides.

  • The AMA is holding a National Physicians Town Hall tomorrow, Thursday, April 9 at 2:00 pm eastern time to discuss the challenges faced by physicians during this unprecedented time. Space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible.

  • MedChi continues to advocate on behalf of physicians' needs in response to the coronavirus crisis:

  • CMS has developed a summary of actions they have taken to ensure clinicians have maximum flexibility to reduce unnecessary barriers to providing patient care.

Please reach out to us if you have questions or if there are specific resources you are looking for. Thank you for all that you do as physicians, healers, and heroes.
