Call For Volunteers: All Children See Pilot Program

The Children's Eye Foundation of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus' (AAPOS) is starting a direct patient care program, called All Children See (ACS). This program is modeled after the AAO EyeCare America program, but it is a separate program dedicated solely to underserved children. We need comprehensive ophthalmologists to volunteer for ACS, just as pediatric ophthalmologists volunteer for EyeCare America for underserved Seniors. You would have the opportunity to limit any patient based upon the age you are comfortable seeing, if you would like to only see children over a certain age.

ACS will begin its pilot program in our pilot region (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia) as soon as we have a core group of volunteers. We need YOU!!

To launch ACS, we need external funding support. To secure this, we need to demonstrate the support of ophthalmologists who have volunteered to participate in this program - either now or in the future.  Please go   here   to learn more about the program and  sign up to volunteer
