Dear MedChi Members and Maryland Physicians:

We hope you had a pleasant Mother's Day weekend and were able to take time to celebrate with those you love, even from a distance. Here's what we want to share with you today:

  • As we take our first steps toward reopening health facilities for non-emergent care, MedChi and our affiliates have a wealth of resources available.

  • The MedChi Insurance Agency can evaluate your insurance plans to ensure you have the protection, flexibility, and support you need as you reopen your practice.

  • The Montgomery County Medical Society has developed a very comprehensive Practice Reopening Toolkit. See the section above for a link to their webinar on practice reopening.

  • I want to share an editorial and petition on universal masking mandates for those interested in joining this public health movement spearheaded by Rene Desmarais, MD.

We are your advocate and your resource, and we're here for anything you need . Please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for all that you do as physicians, healers, and heroes.

With plenty of examples to clear up any ambiguity, the program instructs physicians and billers in how to correctly use these modifiers and explains how to put them to their best use.
