Dear Colleagues:

Please be aware of the "Stay at Home" Order issued by Governor Hogan today. It goes into effect at 8pm today. This order does not prevent us from providing essential medical services.

Retina Group of Washington is sponsoring a COVID-19 Town Hall this evening at 7:00 PM.

We at MSEPS are especially appreciative of the sacrifice and hard work you all are doing to keep Marylanders safe during this challenge.

We applaud you!

The American Medical Association (AMA) today announced three new resources for private-practice physicians in response to the unique operational and business challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The resources build on previous AMA efforts to ensure physicians and their practices have the latest, up-to-date information and resources necessary to navigate the changing landscape of COVID-19.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, ophthalmologists have requested a master list of procedures that are generally performed in operating rooms at hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers as “urgent” or “emergent” procedures.
