Recharge Your Batteries

One of the greatest things about human beings is that each and every one of us is different. We have our own unique interests, backgrounds, triggers and lifestyles. Still, there’s something that rings true for every one of us…we’ve all got to ‘recharge our batteries’.

It doesn’t matter where you are, who you are, or how busy you think your life is compared to others – every single person on this planet must take time to re-focus and re-energize in order to keep their lives on track. It doesn’t matter if you’re an introvert or an extrovert, a leader or a follower, this is an essential human requirement, not a selfish luxury or indulgence.

Fire Safety for Family Childcare

As we continue to hear about the shortage of available childcare in our communities and about groups brainstorming ways to address it, it’s important that the children’s safety stays a top priority.

The Executive Within

How do you influence those around you? Do your company-level officers look to you for guidance? Have they expressed interest in becoming a chief officer? Have they expressed interest in becoming THE Chief? You possess much of the guidance and education that is required to develop those emerging executives within your own organization. To take it further, there is a network of like-minded individuals that are at the ready to provide additional assistance. One that you can belong to in conjunction with your International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) membership.
