NJ DOBI Launches Get Covered New Jersey Campaign
The NJ Department of Banking and Insurance launched the Get Covered New Jersey campaign, to promote health insurance options available to residents whose health coverage or income is affected amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents losing job-based health coverage typically have 60 days from the loss of coverage to enroll in health coverage on the Affordable Care Act Marketplace through a Special Enrollment Period, and those who qualify may also be eligible for financial help to lower the cost of a plan. Individuals who have lost income may be eligible for NJ FamilyCare, the state’s Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Programs. More information on health coverage options can be found on the Get Covered New Jersey website .
