MSSC Celebrate Manufacturing Day at ACT Workforce Summit

Celebrated nationally on the first Friday in October, Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) is manufacturing’s biggest annual opportunity to inspire the next generation, positively shift perceptions about the industry, and build the foundation for the manufacturing workforce of the future. This year, from the stage of the recent ACT Workforce Summit in Nashville, MSSC Senior Advisor LeeSa Page had the opportunity to discuss the importance of MFG Day and Manufacturing Month. Highlighting the role of manufacturing in the American economy and the need to inspire various groups to pursue careers in the industry, LeeSa emphasized the need for partnerships and initiatives to tap into untapped talent pools for a diverse manufacturing workforce. You can listen to LeeSa's remarks here. To find out more about how to host your own MFG Day (since every day can be Manufacturing Day) through this initiative by the Manufacturing Institute, please visit www.mfgday.com.
