Dear Club and League Representatives:
Below are some important updates and reminders regarding risk management in the new GotSport system. Please read and review carefully.
As of July 12, GotSport has added risk management cards to the new system. To access your risk management card, please review the instructions below. Note: At this time, club administrators do not have access to obtain RM cards for their coaches and managers. Each user must obtain their own RM card from within their own GotSport account.

MSYSA has also created a Risk Management FAQs document to help answer many common questions we receive. Please review and share with your club/league staff as this document contains many of our help guides in one place. The document can also be found on our website under the Risk Management Resources tab.
MSYSA has been receiving a large volume of SafeSport and CDC Heads Up certificates in GotSport via upload. Each uploaded certificate must be manually reviewed and approved by MSYSA Staff, so please allow several business days for the certification status to be updated. Please do not upload RM certificates that are expired, and please do not upload multiple certificates pertaining to the same RM Requirement.
We appreciate your patience with our response time as we have been receiving many emails regarding GotSport. Before reaching out to the MSYSA State Office with questions related to Risk Management, carefully review the documents linked above. Also, coaches and managers should first seek assistance from their club/league representative prior to contacting the MSYSA State Office with most Risk Management questions. Any RM-related issues requiring our attention should be directed via email to safesport@michiganyouthsoccer.org. Please provide as much detail as possible so that our staff can assist most efficiently.
Thank you,
MSYSA State Office
