As you know, on April 15, 2020, MSYSA suspended all of our soccer activities*, all MSYSA sanctioned tournaments, and all MSYSA affiliated activities through
May 14, 2020
.
*MSYSA affiliated activities’ includes scheduled games, team practice/training sessions, or sponsored activities that are under the direct supervision of a team official; or sanctioned local or national tournaments as a member of a contestant team (e.g., any activity that MSYSA sanctions and insures).
The current May 15, 2020 return-to-play date, and MSYSA’s June 13, 2020 Official Try-Out Start Date, will be addressed and reviewed by MSYSA on or around April 27, 2020. MSYSA anticipates communicating decisions at some point next week.

Our priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our players, team officials and referees. We know there are many players and team officials anxious to get back to the soccer fields. We are mindful that some will be hesitant to participate or travel, even after restrictions are eased or lifted. Please continue to do your part in adhering to Governor Whitmer’s Executive Orders, such as ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ and continue to follow social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC.
