Around Our School
Blessing Bags

Our 5th grade students used the donations collected from the hygiene drive to make blessings bags for the homeless residents of Pinellas Hope. This activity came at a good time because the class was learning about the Corporal Works of Mercy in religion.
16 Habits of Mind

Students played board games during their "Thinking About Your Thinking" 16 Habits lesson this month. Before they began the game, they wrote down their plan or strategy. Halfway through, they paused and readjusted their strategy. At the end, they wrote and assessed if their strategy worked and what they would do to change it next time.

Each month we focus on one particular Habit. Students who are observed displaying that Habit will earn a ticket. Each month we pull 10 tickets and those students earn a prize.

Slow Down

We urge you to please slow down when entering and leaving MTC. We share a campus with the church and preschool. We each share in the responsibility to keep everyone safe. A costly accident or injury is not worth the few minutes saved by speeding.
