Hope & Transformation
Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Mrs. Tiffany, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to the family.     We invite you to become a member of a family of believers God is using to "reach to teach, teach to change" one person and one block at a time.

Our mission statement reads:
The Memorial Tabernacle Church has come together by the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of preaching and teaching the word of God, (the Bible), and about Jesus Christ, God's son, and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the North Oakland Community and its environs; to bring healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to the oppressed; to be a center of genuine concern for those in need, a sanctuary of community worship that is neither shallow nor restrained, a spiritual home where members find an expression of precious love for one another and a haven for the unsaved.

Choose to be a part. We pray you will choose to attend one of the reunion services to receive the  love  God has given us to give to you specifically! We are waiting on you! Let us know more about you by connecting with us on our  online form  or by stopping by 58th Street and Telegraph Avenue! See you soon! We look forward to doing awesome things together to increase the kingdom of God.

God is Speaking!
This past Sunday, Pastor ministered "Courageous, Committed Youth" (Daniel 1:1-8) .

It was a message the Lord deposited into his spirit while driving home from Sacramento Saturday night. Powerful as we prepare to receive and nurture more young people in our ministry.

God is and has positioned us to be used to draw in generation of people who do not know Jesus Christ. Listen to it by clicking the YouTube link .
God is speaking to us at MTC! Are you listening? Week after week the ministers of Memorial Tabernacle Church share what thus sayeth the Lord behind the pulpit located in the 95 year old building on the corner of 58th Street and Telegraph Avenue in North Oakland. Thank you, Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr, Elder Mrs. Jeanette Wortz, and Elder Calvin King!

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

First Friday Family Fun Night
A great time was had by all who were able to attend First Friday. We watched movies and played games while others made fun crafts from reusable materials. At the request of a neighbor last week, we did have delicious nachos! Save the date for next month Friday, December 6, 6PM-8PM.
Youth Going Green at the Bay Area Science Festival
Members and friends of YGG had an opportunity to engage with 100s of young people and families from the Bay Area. The activities, games, and information were all a hit, and we look forward to participating again next year.

To support YGG in any capacity, please email ygg@memorialtabernacle.org. The program is also in need of a person to support their website. If you are interested, please email saying so.
Pastor King Ministered at Morning Star CHSC's 9th Anniversary Celebration
A grand celebration was had in Sacramento Saturday evening as Pastor James E. William, Jr and the Morning Star family celebrate all that God has done and will do in their church. Pastor ministered on their theme "Let's Get The Job Done" (Luke 14:28-30), and it was an encouragement to all present. Lady Alice Williams is Pastor King's sister, and there was a mini King reunion there. Give in Support
Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Through your financial gifts, we are able to continue to do the mission of MTC. Continue to celebrate with us as we Matthew 28:19 and support with your financial gifts and offerings. The ministry is also in need of finances to prepare the church buildings for the winter and rain. Give in support of the Church 1924 Renovation Fund . Please feel free to g ive securely at  www.memoriatabernacle.org , select the Giving tab, and give as your heart desires. May the Lord multiply your gift and thank you for blessing our ministry.  Give Today!
