Seasons Greetings...
Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Mrs. Tiffany, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to the family.     We invite you to become a member of a family of believers God is using to "reach to teach, teach to change" one person and one block at a time.

Our mission statement reads:
The Memorial Tabernacle Church has come together by the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of preaching and teaching the word of God, (the Bible), and about Jesus Christ, God's son, and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the North Oakland Community and its environs; to bring healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to the oppressed; to be a center of genuine concern for those in need, a sanctuary of community worship that is neither shallow nor restrained, a spiritual home where members find an expression of precious love for one another and a haven for the unsaved.

Choose to be a part. We pray you will choose to attend one of the reunion services to receive the  love  God has given us to give to you specifically! We are waiting on you! Let us know more about you by connecting with us on our  online form  or by stopping by 58th Street and Telegraph Avenue! See you soon! We look forward to doing awesome things together to increase the kingdom of God.

Season of Advent
Christmastime is a season to remember all Christ has done for us and anticipate all He has promised to do for us in the future. The dates are December 1-24, 2019.

He came and died.
He saved us from our sin.
He is coming again!

The purpose of Advent is to rekindle our hope by remembering the prophecies and promises of God.
Caring & Connecting with Our Community
Snow. Decorations. Festive parties and gatherings. Eggnog. Christmas music. Gift shopping. Special worship services and events. 2019 Checklist to complete. Stress. This season can impact each of us differently, but this year there is a group of individuals we are coming together to support and encourage. Along with Ladies First 510 and Caregiver, TAKE CARE , Memorial Tabernacle Church is extending special love to the caregiver. Those who are often forgotten and underappreciated.

If you are a caregiver, used to be one, or you know one, please invite them to a time of coffee and conversation Sunday, December 8 at 3:30PM. RSVP by responding to the invitation at and follow the event at

Give in Support
Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Through your financial gifts, we are able to continue to do the mission of MTC. Continue to celebrate with us as we Matthew 28:19 and support with your financial gifts and offerings. The ministry is also in need of finances to prepare the church buildings for the winter and rain. Give in support of the Church 1924 Renovation Fund . Please feel free to g ive securely at , select the Giving tab, and give as your heart desires. May the Lord multiply your gift and thank you for blessing our ministry.  Give Today!
