MTS™ Synergy Application System
Antimicrobial resistance is a major challenge for clinicians and clinical microbiologists, the use of synergy testing is nowadays increasingly requested.
MTS-SAS combines the reliability of MIC Test Strip with patented tools to facilitate and standardize a critical assay such as the in-vitro combination of antibiotics.

MTS-SAS procedure is significantly faster than any other methods in antibiotic synergy tests (i.e. timekill, checkerboard), does not require any additional trainings to those who are skilled in the usage of MIC Test Strip, reduces or eliminates the risks of procedure errors when compared to laborious and complicated traditional methods:

• standardised
• easy to use
• save time, materials, workload, resources

Patent granted in Europe, USA and Canada.

Rapid Y/M Agar
Selective medium for enumeration of yeasts and moulds
Rapid Y/M Agar is a medium used for selective isolation and enumeration of yeasts and moulds from food, animal feeding stuffs, water and environmental samples. The medium formulation allows to accelerate detection compared to other media commonly recommended for cultivation of yeasts and moulds. Unlike DRBC and DG18, which are used for high (ISO 21527-1) and low (ISO 21527-2) water activity products, respectively, Y/M Agar can be used with samples regardless of their water activity.

TAT (Tryptone-Azolectin-Tween) Broth is a liquid medium used for the microbiological examination of cosmetics and topical drugs, particularly from highly viscous or gelatinous materials.
This medium, also known as Fluid Casein Digest – Soy Lecithin – Polysorbate 20 Medium (SCDLP 20 Broth), complies with ISO 21149 for detection of aerobic mesophilic bacteria. Enzymatic digest of casein provides nitrogen, vitamins, minerals and amino acids essential for growth. Lecithin and polysorbate 20 neutralize preservatives in pharmaceutical products.

Viral Transport Medium
VTM is suitable for collection and preservation of clinical specimens containing viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), Chlamydia spp., Mycoplasma spp. and Ureaplasma spp. The transport medium can be used with swabs and aspirates and is available in a plastic, screw cap tube (or a bulk format, 200 mL glass bottle). The transported microorganism remains viable for 48 hours at room or refrigerated temperature. VTM does not contain guanidium thiocyanate.

• 10-25°C storage temperature.
• 1 year shelf life.
• Contains antimicrobial agents to minimize bacterial and fungal contamination, without affecting viruses, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma.
• A pH indicator (red phenol) indicates the medium integrity during the shelf life of the product.
• The tube stands upright on the laboratory bench thanks to the skirted, flat-bottom, while the conical shape allows an appropriate centrifugation of the sample.
• 16x100mm skirted tube with plastic red cap. Sterile. 100/pack
