Shooter who plans and executes and videos elaborate mass murder in Buffalo is arrested unscathed.
|
|
At a town hall meeting Monday Night Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia addressed racially motivated shootings and told citizens of the Korean business community that he was, “confident [the investigation was] moving in the right direction.” A victim of the shooting (and store owner) appeared at the forum and her translator said she was still fearful because the shooter had not been apprehended. She also shared information/evidence with the Chief. Councilman Omar Narvaez echoed Chief Garcia's sentiments as he talked about a dedicated Dallas Police Department and City Council. He added that as someone who constantly deals with "hate" the multiple racially-targeted shootings were very disturbing.

Mavs Destroy Suns; Move to Western Conference Finals
The sun set on the Phoenix Suns- the No. 1 team all season long – in epic proportions.
Actually, in a jaw-dropping, are-you-kidding-me type fashion.
The Dallas Mavericks jumped all over the Suns from the tip of the game –leading the team by 42 points at the beginning of the fourth quarter – enroute to a beatdown of historic nature; defeating the Suns 123-90.
The Mavs are now headed to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since they won the 2011 NBA Championship. They will face the Golden State Warriors starting Wednesday. Head Coach Jason Kidd, who was on that championship-winning team, has led the Mavs to the conference finals in his first year at the helm.

THE BLACK CARD
BIG MAMA SAID: GIVE PEOPLE THEIR ROSES WHILE
THEY CAN SMELL THEM! THANK YOU FOR A
LIFE WELL LIVED MARY S. MCFALL!
By Terry Allen
I don’t think I will get much disagreement when I pull this “Big Mama” rule out of her Play-book. On the back porch, my grandmother, Lucille “Big Mama” Allen filled her three sons and three daughters, 16 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 38 great-great-grandchildren, seven great great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and bonus family members with simple, Bible-based logic for us to use all throughout our lives.

Trump in Dallas, still upset over 2020 vote,
urges GOP to rout Dems in midterm elections
|
Monday’s event was the first of two Texas stops this week by the former president, who appears Saturday in Austin.
By Gromer Jeffers Jr.
Former President Donald Trump on Monday urged Republican donors to continue to question his 2020 election loss, but simultaneously rally for victories in November’s midterm contests and beyond. “Republicans cannot stop looking at the election, but we also have to go on and we have to go forward,” Trump told about 700 people gathered at a Dallas fundraiser for House Republican candidates.

The Path
As we walk through life's journey, we leave footprints. Some just show where we are going. Others redirect us when we get lost. Still others remain to guide those we leave behind. I see your footprints.
Will you/they see mine?
