Milpitas Unified School District’s Trustees unanimously adopted Resolution 2025.31 Reaffirming Support for Safe Learning and Working Environments for All Students, Families, and MUSD Team Members Regardless of Immigration Status.

Curtner Elementary student leaders featured in Fred Korematsu Day video


January 30th is designated as Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution, and our MUSD Board of Education unanimously adopted this resolution that featured our student leaders from Curtner Elementary School.

Rancho Milpitas MS Admin shares report detailing Flex program for students


Rancho Milpitas Middle School's Admin Team of Principal Vern Caruz and Assistant Principal Amanda Gross shared their school report on the Flex program, which is scheduled within the school day that allows students to get extra help, enrichment or social-emotional support.

Recognitions

MHS competitive cheerleading squad


MHS competitive cheer squad was honored by the Board of Education and District leadership for being amazing student-athletes and finding success in their first competitive season.

Newly elected officials from November election


Those legislators elected or re-elected to office in the November 2024 election, including City Mayor Carmen Montano and City Councilmember William Lam, were recognized by the MUSD Board of Education and District leadership for their commitment to serve our communities.

School Board Recognition Month


The MUSD Board of Education was honored by Superintendent Cheryl Jordan and district leaders for their service and commitment to our MUSD community as January is designated as School Board Recognition Month.

Highlights

Milpitas High School supports aquatics within physical education program

Kristina Edwards, Milpitas High School's Physical Education Teacher and Department Lead, accompanied by Greg Wohlman, Principal and Chief Innovator of Milpitas High School and New Campus Programs, shared an update on the school's Aquatics program.


California Department of Education (CDE) requires Aquatics in high school. At MHS, they teach water safety, such as floating, treading water and life saving techniques; skills/techniques including front stroke, back stroke, underwater swim, treading water and a 20-minute lap swim as the final exam.

  • Accept the Performance and Financial Statement Audit Report on Measure “AA” General Obligation Bond for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2024
