THIS WEEK IN HOUSTON

June 3–7, 2026

June arrives with another quintessential Houston arts week: a major photography opening, a ceramic throwdown, a new photo booth museum, enough exhibition receptions to require strategic planning, and one invitation-only event that will have much of the national art world paying attention to Houston.

That’s because Untitled Art Houston is quietly bringing collectors, curators, and arts leaders from around the country to town for a VIP weekend of museum visits, gallery tours, and private gatherings ahead of the fair’s second edition this fall. If you’re on the guest list, I’d love to hear your take. Tell me what you saw, who you met, and what conversations everyone was having.

See you out and about.

P.S. It’s my birthday on Friday, June 5. If MUSED Houston has helped you discover something wonderful this year, I’d be grateful if you’d consider making a birthday gift to support the newsletter. Every contribution helps me continue curating Houston’s visual arts community week after week.
