Plan Your Arts Weekend: Thursday thru Sunday

It’s a spooky week in Houston! While you may be out trick-or-treating on Halloween, why not also hit an art opening in costume? Missed an event? No problem—plan to visit during regular hours to support local art.

For the full lineup of this week’s art events, check out my online calendar!

BIG NEWS! Encourage your friends to subscribe to MUSED Houston by November 30, 2024! After a year of sharing Houston's vibrant arts scene with nearly 1,200 events promoted—for free—I recognize I can’t sustain this work without community support. Your subscriptions help keep this resource alive for Houston’s artists, galleries, and cultural spaces. And, special thanks to those who’ve shown support through advertising—just two spots are available each week (see this week’s ads below).

Starting in January 2025, I’m introducing a paid subscription option with exclusive perks like early access to select events, deeper insights from guest writers, and discounts at arts and cultural venues around town. A free scaled-down version will continue, highlighting one “Pick of the Week” (e.g., an event, artist, organization, venue).

Early Bird Perks: Subscribe by November 30, 2024 to receive an invitation to a special holiday gathering and an exclusive discount on your 2025 subscription. Watch for more details soon!

To promote your event for free, please submit it through my website at www.melissarichardsonbanks.com. All accepted events are added to the calendar, with select ones featured in the curated weekly e-newsletter.
