MVA Campus Re-opening Information
  • Parent Information Zoom Meeting: Wednesday September 30, 2020 6:30pm. (Link will be emailed 9/28)
  • MVA will open for a small percentage of students for in person instruction starting Tuesday October 13. Please attend Parent Meeting for Details.
  • MVA student orientation for on-campus instruction and activities will take place the week of October 5 - 9.
  • MVA Parent Guidelines for reopening in person.
  • Santa Clara County Public Health Department prepared a Parents Guide for your reference and help as schools transition to in-person instruction.
  • MVA is required to follow SCC School Re-opening guidelines.
Religion II Project: The Meaning of Covenant in the Bible
The sophomore class was studying about what an ancient covenant is. In the Bible there are many examples of Covenant Promises from God. Understanding Biblical Covenants is a way to also understand the redemptive plan of God.

In this project, sophomores are to create their own covenants or promises through pictures and phrases as they work through understanding God's Biblical Covenants.
Community Service Hours

Twenty five community service hours for each year of attendance are required for graduation. Here are some projects to earn service hours:

Volunteer Opportunities at the Sunnyvale SDA Church:

Steams of Living Water-Share the gospel message to the world through Sunnyvale Church Live Stream. Join the presentation team by sharing your talents in Music, Children's Story Telling, or Learning how to and running professional Audio/Video equipment.

The Refuge- Share Jesus' love with the homeless in Sunnyvale. Be part of a team who purchase, prepare, transport, and serve a meal on the third Sabbath of every month.

Grocery Drive-By- Partner with Jesus as He and a team of His followers purchase, package and give away bags of groceries in Sunnyvale to those experiencing hard times during COVID.

Prayer Ministry (on line during COVID)- Experience the power of the Holy Spirit as a group of people request God's presence to make a difference in the lives of others.
Class of 2021 Senior Portraits Thursday, October 1

All seniors will be informed, (if not already) by Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch for his or her photo time slot. The photographer will be set up in the cafeteria on Thursday, October 1st from 1 pm - 6 pm. If for some reason we need to extend the time, the session will be extended the next day.
