The BIG QUESTION:
When will Mountain View Academy be back to full In-Person instruction?
In the fall, the board voted for MVA to return to in-person instruction on March 1 in accordance with our safety re-opening plan. MVA is located in Santa Clara County and currently in the Purple Tier. Because we opened up in the fall and offered students to return to campus, we can continue with our re-opening plans to return to in-person instruction on March 1 while we are still in the Purple Tier.
We understand because Santa Clara County is still in the Purple tier, families and students may still not be ready to return to in-person instruction. For those ready to return, we will be emailing information to everyone about the transition to in-person instruction for March 1 early next week.
When the county moves to the RED tier for a minimum of 5 days, we will then begin to welcome everyone else back and start our final phase of in-person instruction for all students. If you choose to continue on distance learning after the county has moved to the Red Tier, please understand, that your student will need to participate in all activities virtually.
For more information regarding the transition - please refer to the email that will be sent early next week.
