Minimum Day

MVA Prayer Zoom

Join us as an MVA family for a weekly prayer zoom.

End of First Quarter, Friday, October 16

It seemed the quarter went by so fast! One more week before first quarter is over!

The students are advised to communicate with their teachers to make sure everything is turned in and that they don't have any missing assignments.

We are proud of all of you for working hard despite of many life challenges such as family issues, smoke in the air, slow internet connection, and other things.

Marine Science Field Trip

We may not be able to physically go on a field trip but with technology, we are able to do virtual field trips. The field trip was originally planned for October 14th, but it has been postponed to Wednesday, October 28th. The Marine Science students will be going on a virtual field trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium. Virtual tours consist of Penguin Feeding, Sea Otter Feeding, Open Sea Feeding, Kelp Forest and Coral Reef Observations.

Class of 2022 Fundraiser

The junior class is doing a virtual popcorn fundraiser.

Help them raise funds for the junior/senior banquet and for their graduation.

Order your yummy popcorn for the holiday season from Double Good!

Community Service Hours

Twenty five community service hours for each year of attendance are required for graduation. Here are some projects to earn service hours:

Volunteer Opportunities at the Sunnyvale SDA Church:

Steams of Living Water-Share the gospel message to the world through Sunnyvale Church Live Stream. Join the presentation team by sharing your talents in Music, Children's Story Telling, or Learning how to and running professional Audio/Video equipment.

The Refuge- Share Jesus' love with the homeless in Sunnyvale. Be part of a team who purchase, prepare, transport, and serve a meal on the third Sabbath of every month.

Grocery Drive-By- Partner with Jesus as He and a team of His followers purchase, package and give away bags of groceries in Sunnyvale to those experiencing hard times during COVID.

Prayer Ministry (on line during COVID)- Experience the power of the Holy Spirit as a group of people request God's presence to make a difference in the lives of others.
