Supply Pick-Up/Drop-Off Day, Friday, September 18, 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM

Only the students who are contacted by the teachers for pick-up need to come to MVA. However, you are more than welcome to drop off donations for COVID Care Packages, which is collected by Chaplain Lee. He will receive them at the gym parking lot and will have his car trunk open for the donations. They will get delivered to Krissy Dufala the same day, who will distribute them to the homeless, elderly, and those working on the front line.
Community Service Hours

Twenty five community service hours for each year of attendance are required for graduation. Here are some projects to earn service hours:

MAP Growth Testing

This week, the students practiced logging into the MAP Growth Testing site. In addition, they were able to take practice tests to get use to the online test and tools that are available to them. Students do not need to "Study" for this test. This test is designed to test what they already know.

The best way to support your student is to have a quiet place for them to be able to take the tests. (See Attached Schedule) Also, if it is possible, make sure they will have stable internet for the testing times. (If something does happen, we will be able to pause their test but we will need to reschedule a make up time for them to finish, within the next week). Make sure they have a good nights rest and eat a healthy breakfast.

First test will start Monday, September 21, 2020 at 9:00am. They will need to log into their Class - Google Classroom, for example: Freshman will log into their Freshman Class Google Classroom site, Sophomores Google Classroom Site, etc. since their class sponsors will also be proctoring their tests.

We have tried to contact all the students that need accommodations for testing. If you feel your students may needs accommodations for testing and arrangements have not been made, please contact Mrs. Schales at registrar@mountainviewacademy.org, ASAP.
