MVC is beginning to reorganize several areas on campus and we are currently in need of heavy-duty shelving that can hold totes, as well as storage totes themselves.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Peter Cisneros for his 10 years of leadership and service as manager of Bargains Galore Thrift Store. During his time there, the store has experienced tremendous success and has continued to be a meaningful part of our community.
We are grateful for Peter’s dedication, hard work, and the lasting impact he has made over the past decade. We wish him all the best in his next chapter!
| | RECORD YEAR FOR MVC FFA AT STATE CONVENTION | | |
MVC FFA took 31 students to State Convention last week for what turned out to be an epic year! Countless hours of practice, studying, dedication, and perseverance culminated at the 96th State FFA Convention alongside 2,800 FFA members from across Washington. This year was one for the record books, including earning 3 State Degrees — the third-highest degree achievable in FFA — and bringing home 2 State Proficiency Championships!
Highlights from State Competition include:
- 4th place in Dairy Cattle Evaluation
- 8th place in Veterinary Science
- 5th place in Floriculture, with Avery Sager placing 7th High Individual
- 4th place in Nursery/Landscape, with Anika Hibma placing 9th High Individual
- 5th place in Environmental & Natural Resources
- 9th place in Agricultural Mechanics, with Justus Visser placing 7th High Individual
- 13th place in Food Science out of 50 teams, with Anika and Emma earning perfect test scores
- 6th place in Farm Business Management in their first year competing, with Justus Visser placing 10th High Individual
- 1st Year Greenhand team placed 2nd out of 80 teams
- 7th place in Milk Quality Products
Individual recognitions:
- Skyler Watkinson earned a Silver State Award in Ag Skills
- Justus Visser, Anika Hibma, and CJ all received their State Degrees
- STATE WINNER — Dairy Production Placement: Justus Visser
- STATE WINNER — Nursery Production Placement: Anika Hibma
Congratulations as well to Jaelynn in Prepared Public Speaking, both Conduct of Chapter Meetings teams, our Parliamentary Procedure team, and our Sales team for representing MVC so well at State Convention.
We are incredibly proud of all of our students, advisors, and supporters for another outstanding and successful year in MVC FFA!

Congratulations to our 2026 State Track Qualifiers! MVC will be sending an outstanding group of athletes to compete at the State Track & Field Championships May 28–30 in Yakima. These athletes have demonstrated incredible dedication, hard work, and perseverance throughout the season, and we are proud to see them represent MVC at the state level.

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our 2026 MVC Summer Sports Camps! Camps are available for students entering grades 3rd–8th and will take place throughout the month of June.
🏐 Girls Volleyball — June 8–11
🏀 Girls Basketball — June 15–18
⚽ Boys & Girls Soccer — June 22–25
🏀 Boys Basketball — June 29–July 2
Each camp is $100 per child and includes one MVC camp t-shirt.
Whether your child is looking to build skills, compete, stay active, or simply have fun with friends this summer, MVC Camps are a great opportunity to grow in athletics and community!
