Proposed MVCAC Administrative Policy Change and Dues Policy Change
As discussed at the December Planning Meeting, there is a proposed change to the MVCAC Administrative Policy regarding holding a separate budget meeting for those interested in attending.

Also from the planning meeting was establishing deadlines for dues payments and a late fee added to late payments.

MVCAC 5k Fun Run

Getting in early to San Diego but you don't golf? Come take a relaxing run or walk along the shore in the First (ever?) MVCAC 5K Run/Walk! Entrants will compete for the top prize on Sunday at 2 pm. All paid entrants will receive a  custom/commemorative  water bottle and a refreshing beverage of their choice at that evening's opening reception. Proceeds will benefit the Munzy Fund. 

Young Professionals Event at AMCA Annual Meeting
From The AMCA:

The YP committee will be hosting our 2 nd annual Young Professionals pre-conference workshop at the 2017 AMCA meeting in San Diego, Monday, Feb 13 from 9:30 am-3:30 pm at the conference hotel, and will include lunch. Registration is free. This year's workshop will focus on trapping techniques and strategies for all mosquito life cycles (including discussions with experts and hands-on demos), but we will include other topics of interest to YPs as well.
 
A detailed agenda, as well as a registration form, will be distributed soon to YP group members, as well as annual meeting registrants who have identified as students or YPs.

NPDES Coalition Members
The MVCAC Executive Committee has approved the renewal of the NPDES Coalition Agreement for the monitoring and reporting permit for the period 2016-2021. The agreement and rules were emailed to the Districts, please  contact MVCAC Staff if you need another copy.

We need each member of the Coalition to sign and return the permit application either by mail or email.
