The easiest airport is Oakland. From there you can take BART to the Ashby Station or the MacArthur Station.
If you take the train to MacArthur, you could then catch the local shuttle to the hotel. Either way, you can take an Uber or Cab the short distance to the hotel.

2018 William C. Reeves New Investigator Award Applications Due 12/1/17
Applications for the 2018 William C. Reeves New Investigator Award will be accepted through Friday, December 1, 2017. The William C. Reeves New Investigator Award, memorializing Dr. William C. Reeves, who was a renowned University of California entomologist, is sponsored by the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California (MVCAC). The award is presented to the best scientific paper submitted and presented at the annual MVCAC conference.
When Aedes aegypti mosquitoes were detected for the first time in the Coachella Valley in May 2016, the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District developed a response based on lessons learned by other vector control districts already fighting the invasive species. One refrain heard time and again was "you can't get rid of this mosquito without the help of the community." With a backyard breeder like Ae. aegypti, education efforts need to focus on changing people's behavior as it pertains to yard maintenance. Any progress reducing the invasive species through surveillance and control efforts are temporary if mosquito breeding sources are not eliminated from people's yards.
