At the December 5 meeting, the City celebrated Jim Wickham’s retirement after decades of dedicated service and saw outgoing Mayor Urban Carmel pass the baton to incoming Mayor Stephen Burke. Re-elected Councilmembers Urban Carmel and Caroline Joachim, along with newly-elected Councilmember Katherine Jones, were sworn in during the evening's events. 60 Throckmorton Project Update

On December 10, the Planning Commission approved an update to the 60 Throckmorton Treehouse project that was originally approved in November 2023. Bomb Threat at Tamalpais High School A bomb threat at Tamalpais High School prompted a coordinated emergency response on Tuesday, December 10. Thanks to swift action by school staff and multiple law enforcement agencies, the campus was safely evacuated, thoroughly searched, and cleared.
