City-wide Initiatives on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Task Force Update
At the Monday, June 15, 2020 Council Meeting, the City Council approved an immediate action plan to address systemic racism and injustice in Mill Valley. As part of the plan, Acting City Manager Piombo directed City Department Heads to conduct internal reviews of current City programs and policies related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Here is the latest on these efforts.
Join Us Downtown for Some Outdoor Dining & Shopping This Weekend
In partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and local restaurants and retailers, the City will close Miller Avenue between Throckmorton and Sunnyside avenues from Friday, July 10 at 4 pm through Sunday to support local businesses and encourage safe, physically distanced outdoor shopping and dining. Marin Transit and TAM partner with Uber to launch Integrated On-demand Connect2Transit Program - People in Marin County now have access to a range of new on-demand transportation services.
