Winter Storm - High Winds and Significant Rainfall Anticipated
Forecasters are predicting that light rainfall will diminish over much of the region today while shifting northward over the North Bay. Another frontal system will then sweep through the entire region late tonight into Friday with drying conditions Friday night into Saturday morning. An atmospheric river will then take aim on the region Sunday into Monday bringing gusty winds and potentially significant rainfall. Are you prepared for more rain and high winds? COVID-19 Update
Online Form Created for COVID-19 Self-Tests
With over-the-counter COVID-19 self-tests becoming more widely available, Marin County Public Health has created an online form so results from those tests can be recorded along with all other tests conducted at laboratories. Learn more about this recent data-gathering effort.

Booster Update: Marin County Public Health’s goal of providing boosters to at least 50% of all Marin residents over the age of 65 just got a boost of its own, as the FDA took the first in a multi-step process of making more COVID-19 vaccine brands available as boosters.

Fall is Here! - Please remember that in Mill Valley, gas powered leaf blowers are prohibited, and we count on community members to rake and dispose of leaves using their green bins. Marin County Parks has shared that the microsurfacing work on the southern stretch of the Mill Valley/Sausalito Pathway is complete, and the pathway is open.

Halloween Street Closure Sycamore Village - In an effort to enhance pedestrian safety this Halloween, we will be closing Sycamore Avenue between Park Avenue and Valley Circle to vehicle traffic during the evening hours. This closure of Sycamore Avenue will take place between 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Sunday, October 31st.  More details on the closure, safety, and parking can be found here.

You're Invited To Attend This Month's Neighborhood Evacuation Drill Events - Due to the huge success of our Neighborhood Evacuation Drill, Southern Marin Fire District & Mill Valley Fire will be hosting two more this Saturday! Call for Artwork - The City of Mill Valley and the Mill Valley Arts Commission are seeking artists to showcase their art as part of a pilot project by creating Public Art to be placed throughout the City of Mill Valley, starting with The Depot on the Downtown Plaza.

Halley's Comet Sculpture Ribbon Cutting - Come and celebrate the installation of Mill Valley’s Public Art’s first sculpture, Aristides Demetrios’ Halley’s Comet on October 27th starting at 11 AM at the Mill Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto. The State of the City with Mayor John McCauley and City Manager Alan Piombo
On Thursday, October 7, Mayor John McCauley and City Manager Alan Piombo joined the Outdoor Art Club to discuss current events and projects at the City.
