We Made It!
a
It took seven months, but last Sunday, we reached our goal of donating "1000 Hours of Caring" to our community! In fact, we blew past that goal with ease, logging 1063!
Now, it's time to focus on reaching the "1000 Hours of Caring" for the MVUUC. It shouldn't take long. So, should we continue counting community hours? Let me know what you think. Drop me a line at sisrael@accesstoledo.com with your thoughts.

From Rev. Lynn...

A sincere thank you to the many members that have called, spoken to me, and sent condolences to my family after the death of my mother-in law.

Life can be so unpredictable and at times, seem very harsh.  With a heavy heart, we placed my father in a residential hospice program this week after a stroke last weekend.  I know many of you have met him at church over the last couple of years. I'm happy to report that he is resting comfortably and is quite lucid.  The situation may make my schedule a bit erratic in the coming days or weeks so please call me for appointments and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.  Thank you for your understanding and support.

Tuesday, May 2
9:30am - 12:30pm - Office Hours at MVUUC
1:00 - 2:00pm - Drop in to chat with Rev. Lynn at
Grounds for Thought in Bowling Green

Please call for other appointment times.

It's also a good idea to call my cell phone (419-343-2292) before coming to church on Tuesday to be sure I'm there.
